As we searched for the perfect tea room location throughout 2002 and 2003 we ran across some homes that we thought would be “ok”.  All needed work, but we had great vision and desire and were willing to try anything.  Then came the day we walked into the house at 1100 S. Madison and we knew we had found it, the perfect spot for our dream. The home had been built in the early 1900’s by the Armstrong family, and owned by the Braun family since 1990. The Braun’s had decorated all of the rooms with Victorian elegance and class and left us with very little interior work to do before opening in April 2004.   Since opening it has been our honor and privilege to serve our guests & friends at LaTeaDa. For us, it is not just about having lunch; it is about the experience.  It may be about meeting up with an old friend, celebrating a birthday, or a new baby, or just escaping from the office for the afternoon.  Whatever it may be for you, we hope that we can make your “lunch” much more than just a lunch, but an overall enjoyable experience that you will want to share with your friends often.
